The advent of the new political, socio-economic and hygiene dispensation in South Africa has ushered in an era of exciting and demanding challenges for Selton Cleaning Services. The company was launched in February 2001. It literally transformed form a 'One Man,One Machine' carpet and upholstery cleaning venture into a multi-dimensional service provider. Our more that 30 corporate clients benefit from 11 years of excellent contract cleaning services. Our proven track record of growth and development gives us the edge in the cleaning industry. Professionalism, stable, sound labour relationships, the most modern labour efficient cleaning equipment and technology ensures fast, efficient and immaculate cleaning interventions. Environmentally friendly products and techniques are being utilised in all our cleaning procedures. Currently servicing Corporate Offices, Universities, Industrial Warehouses, Concourses and Body Corporates. With our excellent market ratings, ISO 9001/2008 registration and commitment to services that surpass client expectations we fulfill all corporate and commercial cleaning needs.

BEE Ownership: Selton Cleaning Services is a 100% Blackowned company and currently has a level 1 BEE rating. Selton Cleaning Services has 90% black women ownership and 10% black male ownership.

Skills Development: We invest in the upliftment of our employees through training. One percent of our payroll is spent on skills development and the SETA leadership programmes.

Social Development: Selton Cleaning Services are actively invloved in communities by supporting local schools to visit for example the Aquarium and provide finance assistance to organisations like the Dreamcentre to rehabilitate drug abuses.A further education bursary will be offered to selected school going learners of Selton staff.

Employment Equity: Selton Cleaning Services has commited itself to the empowering of black persons, especially women and disabled persons into managerial positions. Our company believes in the principles of profit sharingand this yearly dividends are distributed to the relevant persons.


Selwyn completed a Diploma in Business Management in 1996. He obtained a Theological Diploma in 1999. He held the position of technical store man at Canon for four years, and then moved on to starting and managing his own cleaning company in 1998. Selwyn currently focuses on the operational management of Selton Cleaning Services. Tonia obtained a National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1992. She pursued a career in Information Technology in 1993. She is a certified Network Administrator and has gained experience in Technical Support, Programming as well as Training. She furthered her studies and completed her BTech in Civil Engineering in 2009. Tonia is committed to the financial management of Selton Cleaning Services.
